Reflections

When i reflect on my research and what i believe in, i think everybody is mean since we all make fun of other languages. i believe that all languages and dialects change in time. Like when you move from a different state or country you will feel weird at first since the language and dialect will be different. So just remember that when you make fun of another persons language, accent or dialect, remember that they might be making fun of you to. And i know you probably wont like that.!

Recommendations

I recommend this blog for everybody because we all make fun of different languages and dialects and accents.

Conclusion

My conclusion is that people do make fun of other peoples languages. We should not make fun of other peoples languages because that just is not fare, just because we all speak differently that does not mean that we should make fun of each other. It's stupid to. We should learn to get along about all of our different languages and dialects. Because we will be living with all of these different languages all of our life.

Data

1. What type or types of Chinese do yo speak?
Min Nan (southern Min)
Min Bei (northern Min)
Min Dong (eastern Min)
Min Zhong (central Min)

2. Do you like it when a person tries t speak your language and it sounds like they are mocking you?
I don't like it but i keep in mind that they are trying, but when they keep trying and then they just start laughing because it sounds stupid that is when i start getting mad.

3. When you moved to America was it hard since you were the only one that spoke Chinese and everyone else spoke English?
Yes it was since i was adopted and my family spoke English and I couldn't understand them at all. it a few months to be able to speak to them like in a way that they would understand but it wouldn't be English or Chinese it was our own language.

4. Why do you think that people want to learn your language?
I really don't know why. It is weird though when a friend walks up to me and says that the person wants to learn the language and then when i start talking to them in the language they say never mind i don't want to anymore. I think that it is because they think it is to hard to learn.

Do you still speak some Chinese, or just English all the time?
I speak Chinese sometime but mostly English since none of my friends speak Chinese and my family doesn't either so i just speak English.
